Round 1 of the Polish Carpet Nationals was held in Lubawa city. Free practice started Friday afternoon and ended at 2200hrs.
Saturday started with one controlled practice. The traction got higher and higher with about 70 drivers on the track. After 5 rounds of qualifying the traction was very high and the cars started traction rolling after the first round of qualification. After 5 controlled rounds of qualifying, TQ in Modified went to Blazej Orlowski driving the new XRAY T3'12. In E12 class, TQ was taken by Kowalczyk Lukasz driving the XRAY X12 chassis.

On Sunday, both classes final results were very similar to qualifying. Blazej Orlowski took the win in Modified, and Lukasz Kowalczyk won in E12. The best XRAY driver in SPEC class took 2nd position.
The event proceeded in a very nice atmosphere, with all the best drivers in Poland taking part Three drivers from Tamiya were "too slow to join us." Every XRAY driver was looking forward for the second round which will take part in Zawadzkie.
